The committee

The International Support Committee for Fariba Adelkhah and Roland Marchal was initiated by the European Network for the Analysis of Political Societies (Reasopo). Fariba and Roland are founding members of the Reasopo that quickly mobilized as soon as their arrest was announced in June 2019. The Support Committee took shape in Sciences Po academic community, in a global process of internationalization. This European academic network expanded as other colleagues of Fariba and Roland demonstrated their commitment to act for their release and to advocate for all others scientific prisoners. The Committee was established the day after Roland Marchal’s detention was revealed by the media. This International Support Committee is open to all members of the academic community wishing to get involved in the mobilization for Roland and Fariba.
