Vidéo: Alioune Diagne dances for Fariba and Roland, Place du Trocadéro February 11th 2020.
During our gathering on Trocadero esplanade (Paris) on February 11th 2020 , Alioune Diagne, one of the stars of contemporary dance in Africa and the founder of Diagn’Art Company, has created an allegory of confinement and isolation. He traced two black and white squares on the floor, as symbols of the double physical and interior confinement and after gagging himself, explored in movement what the two French prisoners may feel. Thank you Alioune for this moment of great emotion and solidarity…
